Description:  Is there still a place for the government sector to provide weather and climate services?  We think so, but as you’ll hear in this episode, Jeff and I believe it takes a symbiotic relationship between governments, multi-lateral organizations, and industry to provide the most optimal environmental intelligence.  Although the private sector is advancing weather and climate technology much faster than big bureaucracies, governments still serve as an important focal point for safety, interstate, and international coordination.
